With some of my males I've had luck with giving them one of those corner litter boxes. Usually your guys will already have an area they prefer to go in and that's where you put the litter pan. Put a different kind of litter in the litter box than is in the rest of the cage, and when you see poo or wet bedding in the rest of the cage place it in the litter pan. I have had luck with this method with some of my males. Unfortunately girls are better about litter training than boys are and some just never seem to get the hang of it.

i litter trained my boy by picking up his poo everyday and putting it in the designated litterbox. he'd sniff my hand of poo and watch where i put it, after a week he'd figured it out
