pregnant mice?

Hi,

Just wondered what peoples views are on keeping 2 pregnant mice together? 2 out of the 3 that I brought are pregnant and just wondered if it would be ok to keep them all together and what others thought?

Thanks x

If you keep them together, they'll help nurse each other's babies. If the other mouse is in the same tank (the one that isn't pregnant) make sure she's not trying to take over the mommy duties. Sometimes the "nanny" mouse will take the babies from the mommy mouse, preventing them from feeding and such.

Keeping 2 pregnant mice together is fine.

Yes, actually like Pinkie said it can be very good because they can help each other out, but if you keep the one that isn't pregnant in there, she can be helpful too, but she might be too helpful so watch out for that. Make sure that when the babies are born you sex them and separate them when they are old enough or you will have lots of babies and they can become deformed when they are mating with their siblings.

Like Bokuza said make sure you give them the option of multiple nests and food/water so they don't fight over territory.
