Quincy & Noah...going soon!

So I just met with the potential adoptive parent of my two foster boys. His application was looked at and he was the only one who inquired about them,so the rescue got me to contact him and set up a meeting with the guy to see how it went.

He seems really great. He has been doing his research (he is a first time rat person) and was telling me what he knew and even asking a few things to make sure.He really liked the little guys too and fortunately they did their job and been all cute and cuddly to sell him! He is very excited and I can tell the boys will get a loving home.

Buddy was here a little more then a half hour talking with me and playing with the boys. And I got good vibes,so I am really happy. Now the rescue will just have to approve the application and in the next few days Noah and Quincy will go to their new home.

I am happy!
That is probably the only really good thing about today.

Me too.

The rescue is going to finalize the adoption today or tomorrow and then they are going.I will be sad, because I was considering adopting them if nobody else would. They are really sweet rats and cuddly boys and they do steal your heart. But I am happy for them and as Anne Marie from the rescue said to me last night I can foster more, because we cannot keep them all as much as we want to.This is true.If we kept every rat we fell in love with,we would have a house full! I once had over 30 rats and it was alot of work,so I don't want that many anymore...hehe.

So the next ratties the rescue gets,I will probably get to foster!

Aww, I know how hard it must be, but it's good they have found such a good owner and I'm sure he will be happy with his first choice of rats!

They are gone.I am happy though.

I may be getting a challenge on my hands, the rescue (Beagle Paws) wants me to foster a mother dog and 4 puppies.I may do it,but there is only one thing holding me back....

Thats awesome. Sorry that you miss them though.
If my house weren't so full
I'd be a foster mom, but i dont plan on getting rid of my babies.
So.. I am just gonna stick to virtual puppies for now.
We've got a litter of kittens on the way anyway.
Thankfully my friends are awesome and jazzy always has a variety of different colors and not just one
