I just replied to your other thread.

Could you call your vet and make an appointment?

Bathe it gently with a wet cotton wool bud, I know that on hamsters you can put on a small amount of antiseptic cream. Then, take it to the vet

Absolutely do not super-glue a lump together that has burst, that's a terrible suggestion!

Get him to the vet, ASAP. A burst lump that like is often a tumor or an abscess.

it sounds like a trauma or fight where the blood pooled under the skin, sometimes these resolve on their own, the body reabsorbing, and other times it turns into a nasty abscess...

Was the lump there a day or 2 ago? Or just showed up? Abscesses, etc show up fast, and tumours are slower-growing.

The reabsorption can take up to a week or more...this just happened to a girl of mine. Her face swelled up badly from a bite to her face. Its all gone now and no abscess formed
