Sorry I ask so many questions but I can't seem to find an answer to this one anywhere. I just noticed today that Schubert's left eye bulges out more than his right.. significantly. Has anyone else ever encountered that? I feel like i'm just paranoid but its better to ask than to not and it end up being something :/
We plan to get him to a vet here soon because of a suspicion of him having a URI, i just need to know if this is something I should ask the vet about and what it could possibly be?

If you're taking him to the vet anyway it wouldn't hut to ask him about it.

Good to hear he's okay. One eye suddenly bigger than the other usually can mean infection, uveitis, glaucoma, etc...
Some rats have one eye slightly bigger than the other, just like people have things that are different on their body.

Then there's small eyes or micro-eye...that's a genetic issue.
