when my rats (2 females) are out and crawling on me i notice that they are leaving wet drops of stuff, its clear and from what i can tell oderless so i dont think they are peeing... do they leave sent trails? do your rats do this?
Hmmm just sounds like pee and a lot of animals leave pee when they want to leave a scent behind but im not a rat person, sorry. Im sure Katie or one of the other PT'ers will be around soon to help you out.
female rats just like males leave trails of pee where they go, its a way for them to know things like i was here, this is a known place to me, it tells the other rats their status, such as if they are in heat, who's territory is this, ect..I have noticed that with my rats the dominant one would leave more urine, sometimes the dominant one would leave scent marks on the other rat!
aww then if thats the case i hope they leave a lot more scent trails all over you..ehehehhehe..they must really love you. Be proud to wear that wee wee!
They are just marking you as their territory...so means they love you so much they claim you as theirs, :crylaugh: they think it the other way around!!
