seperating spinies

Ok, I was wondering if I should remove my male spiny mouse from the cage as the female I have 2 females but cant house them together or they fight and i really need advice from other spinie owners as I am new to this species of mice

Yes, you should remove the male. Otherwise you're going to end up with babies and it's not healthy for the females to be bred constantly.

I've noticed that a lot of cases of females fighting are caused from lack of space. What is their set-up like? Spiny mice need a lot more room than fancy mice.

EDIT: I just noticed in your signature that you already have spiny mouse babies. You should have removed the male already.

they are in a 55 gallon tank, and I just dont want them getting depressed cause I have been told that they will if they dont have any other spinies with them

You could get another male. Or maybe just put any male babies with him once they're weaned?

It's true that they like to live in groups but it would be far worse for your females to be bred back-to-back.

I just dont wanna cause harm i seperated them and the female seems extreme paniced

Well found out why she was paniced she gave birth 20 minutes ago to a fat baby mousey!
