Unhappy Sick 5 year old

My rat Stone is very sick. It happened kinda suddenly, but because he's old I'm gunna let him go naturally. He has phenmonia, and doesnt lay still at all. So I'm sitting with him 24/7. He's still eating and drinking, it`s just his breathing

I'm very sorry for your loss, but his amazing age or a rattie is definitely a statement about the care and love he got. You should definitely feel good about the kind of life you gave him.

So sorry for your loss hun, I know how you feel. As others have said 5 is an amazing age for a rat to reach you must have been an excellent mommy! Also at that age there isn't much you can do for them. I'm sure he had a wonderful life with you!
