Supplemental Mix

I have put together a mix that contains;

* Natures Promise: Honey Whole Grain Cereal with crunchy fiber twigs, soy protien grahams and Honey Puffs
* Stop & Shop All natural lowfat Granola with raisins
* Banana chips, raisins, peanuts, papaya, pineapple, dates, cranberries, almonds and pepitas. (held in a seperate container)

Is this good if not is there anything i should add? and any suggestions on how often to feed this?

Is this for your rats?

I make my own homemade rat diet and I have dried fruit,dry whole wheat or sometimes vegetable pasta,Royal Canin dry dog food,puffed wheat,puffed rice,shreddies,soybeans...etc.I am always adding and supplementing stuff in it.

You can do some research on homemade rat diets and mixes and see whats okay to put in it and whats not.Everyone seems to put different things in theirs.As long as it contains the things the rats need,then it is all good!

I also give them tuna,pasta (cooked or canned...the canned only as a treat),bread,rice,peas...etc,etc on the side.

My rats have really shiny,healthy coats and bright eyes.Plus they love their food!

You can make your own staple diet for them.It is better then what the stores have to offer and plus since YOU make it,you know and control what goes into it.

Your diet sounds okay, and actually it does sound close to a suebees mix. Just as long as the staple is a lab block, I"m sure you'll be okay.
