Suprise!

Guess what I did? I went out today and got another pair of girlies (mice).I came across the ad on Kijiji and misses was rehoming these girls and ALL of their stuff...a cage (it is like Mossa's cage),a huge container of Nutriblock,3 bags of seeds and treats and shavings (they were pine,so I will throw them away).

AND I was talking to her for abit and she also threw in a litterbox,TONS of cans of cat food and cat litter (she was fostering cats, but not anymore...so the stuff was being unused,so she gave me that too)...it was like Christmas!

Anyway here are my new girls...no names yet.

The little agouti one is bit of a biter though.
She was rehoming them because she wasn't spending alot of time handling them anymore...I didn't ask,but I don't think she had them long, since the cage hardly looks used.

What can I say? I love mice!

Congrats Lisa! They are little beauties. They look very healthy, and happy.

Awesome deal on the cat stuff too, I'm jealous!

Thank you everyone! The little agouti nipped me once today, but it didn't hurt...just startled me.
I know,I didn't expect to get all the cat stuff too...they offered it to me after we were talking about pets and I mentioned my kitties.

wow it was like and early christmas. They look so cute and playful. are they young yet? I love mice. I was playing with my one female today who is a loner right now, I tryed introwing her with my other girls a while back both in there cage cleaned and out in 10 gal tank but some of my older ones would not have it. I think they all have their rank and dont want any more adults they are fine with the babies though. But I will be takeing the 2 wite girls that are baby babies and placing in with her after bit becuase the young ones seem to like her and get along its my older femaels that i think have astablished dominets and dont want to bother with newbies. Although they didnt mine India and dutches when I intord them with the babies when I sperated the boys and girls. Maybe its just the one mouse they dont like. Althouhg Dutches did pass a while back but she was in the feeder bits and looked like and old girl so I think she was originaly thier stock they just threw her down with the feeders becuase she was old. But at lest she got to raise her pups.
You are soon gonna have a house full of mice and rats. Are you gonna intor them all together when the babies get old enough? Have you tryed any new stuff you got for they kittens? I bet you are having lots of fun. They are so cute. I wonder if they are related did she say if she knew or not?
Diamond.

Now matter how big or small wierd or normal we or animals may be we can learn to love and get along and love is what makes it all worth wild. Becuase Beautie is in the eye of the beholder an no one is ugly or more prettyer then anything eals we are all equal. There are some ugly people and things but that is becuase man kind makes them this way do to thier actions.

So their names are Keela (white one) and Sorcha (agouti).

I never got these from the same girl where I got Siobhan and Saoirse. They were from different homes,so no they are not related.Because this girl got these mice from a pet store and the other girl bred the mice.

What I ment was are the new grils relalated to each other do you know are they sisters maybe? They are so very cute. I think you are gonna have diva mice who love the camra on your hands. They take great pics. Can you pick them up yet or they still shy. Have they come over to sniff your hand or take food? Or try to climb up your arm yet?
I like their names do they mean anything?

Ohhhh...sorry misunderstood what you meant.
I am not sure if they are related. The girl got them from a pet store,so who knows.

Yes,I can pick them up.Sorcha is a little bit nippy, but I can pick her up.She is the more active out of the pair.

Keela and Sorcha are Irish names (decided to keep the Irish theme going with my mice).

Keela means "beautiful" and implies a beauty that only poetry can capture! I used to have a rat named "Keely",which meant "beautiful" as well.

Sorcha means "bright, radiant, light".There are two pronunciations.
"Sor - aka" (this is the pronunciation I use). And also "Surk - ha"

Cool names. I like them. I only have 2 Irish names but there for my Gerbils. Shargar (after a famouse Irish race horse) not shure what it means but he looks like lassie and I was not calling him that even though lassie was a boy attually but lassie is originated from scotland I think 1st then Irish. all I remeber is Micky Roonie played in a movie with her and it was set in scotland if i can remeber. His mothers name is Celtic Rose from celtic/Irish.
I have Irish in me and why I dont name my critters more Irish names I dont know. You come up with some neet names I like them. you should make a list of names for rats mice and other pets and post them and others can add to it so if some one is trying to find a name they can just read and pick. Also you can put by the name what it means as well.
I know when I 1st got Kalypso she was a little nippy at fist she still dont like to be picked up but if I lay my hand flat she climbs on. She dont mind me picking her up now but boy when I 1st got her she hated it. She is so freindly know to. She is about a year and still the boss of all the other girl mice.
