Tv?

Can mice be kept in rooms with TVs? I remember when I had my mouse, when I put her in a room with a TV, she got sick and died of cancer. I don't think it came from the TV, but I was just wondering.

I have most of my pets (including my mice, hamsters and gerbils) in my room. I also have in my room a TV, radio, PS2, gamecube, and (in my apartment room) refrigerator and microwave. I have a pair of gerbils that's 2 years old (that's currently my oldest rodents) and I've had a TV in my room for about 12 years... so I don't think it's really related..

Sometimes mine even like the TV. It gives a good white noise for the background. Since mice startle easily, a low volume TV can block out any loud noises that might happen elsewhere. So don't fret. Sorry to hear about your loss, though.
