Two More Rats

Well two rats were returned to me today. The girl wasn't allowed keeping them. She called and asked me to take them back, because her mom decided she didn't like the "goolies" that the boys had... so here they are with me again.I am happy to see they are healthy and she has taken really good care of them. They are really kissy too.She actually didn't wanna give them up.

She named them,Pickles (himalayan dumbo...but has a fault, missing the point by the base of tail...that don't matter tho) and Peanut (black berkshire dumbo).I am gonna keep them I think, instead of finding another home for them and adding more stress to them.

I now have 21 rats...

Well, I'm glad she returned them to you instead of any number of other things that could have happened to them. I'm also glad she was taking good care of them, although it's too bad her mother wouldn't let her keep them... I expect pics!

I have never purchased a pregnant animal from a pet store, and ours frequently have the boys missexed... I guess I've been very lucky. I don't buy animals from the pet stores anymore, btw.

Well most of my rats are adult. There are only 6 babies, that are almost adult themselves...they areepper,Noodles,Chewy,Templeton and then the two I got back today,Pickles and Peanut.

Yeah,I am glad she called me back instead of giving them to another person or a pet store or who knows where!I am also happy she didn't just neglect them. She is a good person tho anyway.

I only ever bought a couple of animals from pet stores that were pregnant and they were all mice.I bought a rat from a pet store once,Sterling...she showed pregnant signs, but either it was a fake pregnancy or she had a misscarriage (she was really sick anyway) and never actually had babies.

I rarely buy animals from pet stores anymore too.

Some people are just wierd about that kind of thing. It's actually the reason we got girls instead of boys, my mom doesn't like them and said she didn't know if she's be able to hold them, lol!

That was a stupid reason, maybe it was too much "MAN" she could handle her kid looking @? I dunno why people get so uptight about animals organ's. The kid is going to find out sooner or later, you cannot prevent that! Glad to hear Peanut may have a home!
