Well....unexpectedly...

I got three new baby ratlets yesterday!
A man dropped them off to my house. They are three little boys.

See,what happened was I seen an ad online advertising rats.I did contact them to see pictures and there was a little boy I was interested in.Just the one......I gave him my address and awhile later he showed up with three boys.He was going to give me a second,so the one I wanted wouldn't be lonely and then he realized the last male would be lonely,so he just brought them all to me.It was unexpected, but I am not complaining.I have a spare cage big enough for them. And it is only 7 rats, thats nothing.I definitely won't be getting anymore new ratties for awhile. But squee!

Anyway no names yet...but I am considering German or Irish names (of course).I will get pictures soon.

Thanks everyone,I will let you know what I choose.
There is a himi boy and he is the most playful thing ever...he seriously acts like a puppy when he plays! I have never seen a rat shake it's head when it hops around and hand wrestles...not a bad shaking though,I cannot explain it...I will try and get a video to show what I mean.He gets sooo excited.

I was thinking though, what if I could only look after one...you know? He shows up with three! Hahaha! Of course thats not an issue with me,but what if it was someone else! Oh well,I am not complaining! It is a nice suprise.I miss baby ratlets! My other boys are all big squishes now.

I am hoping one of these new boys will turn out to be a mommy's boy! I mean,I love my older boys...but none of them are mommy's boys. Not as cuddly as rats I had in the past,Ronnie is my most cuddly rat,but even he don't like too much cuddles. So maybe I can get one of the new ones to be a huge ball of love.

Oh my goodness. That's fabulous! The new rats that is, not the lice. Sometimes I wonder if once you have rats, if they suddenly don't start springing up in one's house every time it rains. Like mushrooms. LOL

Best of luck getting rid of their tag alongs.

congrates about the rats that was a nice suprise with 3 insted of one. Sorry they all have lice I wonder if he knew and that is why he gave you all 3? or maybe he didnt. I hope they turn out to be swooshys. I have had some of my rats thorw themsleves around in play in weird ways, I have one Zues who likes to pull him self with his front feet sometimes and drag his betty acrost the cage floors or when out like an otter then him and a new ratty form the girl in Up state new york slid down the ladder. it seems to be a wierd ratty game to them.
Wish you the best in getting ride of the lice. Thinking about lice or bugs of any kind in genrel make me itch, lol I dont like bugs much. I am sure you will come up with cool names you come up with cool ones all the time.

Thanks guys.

I am not sure if they do have lice.I may just get them treated anyway.I have not seen lice on any of them and only seen what appears to be nits on one of them, thats why I am thinking they may have lice.

No,the guy was rehoming them cause it was an accidental litter and they decided to only keep the females and rehome the males.
