How Do I Save My Lawn From Dog Pee?

Good article. We had the same problem, our dog was peeing on the lawn and causing nitrogen burns in several spots. What worked for us was to designate a special area for him to use as his toilet area that was in the corner of the yard and off of the lawn itself. And then we placed a pee post that looks like a fire hydrant in it so he had somewhere to lift his leg and pee on, that we didnt have to worry about getting damaged. Here is a helpful guide to them. We used positve praise and gave our dog treats every time he peed on it, and it didnt take long for him to understand what he was supposed to do. Now he uses it to pee and urine mark every time. Anyway that's what worked for us. Hope this helps someone else.
