thanks everyone. We were only fostering this chin. (she was kind of 'left' with us) She has finally gone to her forever home and is doing really well from what I hear. She is even being quite socialble which she wasn't with us so I'm really glad she likes it there

Theres a link, i tried to take a close up one. Its pretty simple, just gotta plan out in advance if you dont want them to be able to ever get to the nails.. gotta plan for the guards to go on the sides of the shelves, between the cage and the wood shelf. I keep a close eye on mine, so it varies whether the wood is between or on top of the shelf. hopefully that makes sense lol.

lol! If you have questions feel free to ask! I have had to redo their cages like 10 times since I got them. But I finally figured it out and its working pretty well

thanks I have 16 chins and one on the way lol but I think it will be so better than the ledges i have and if you know anyone around the east coast who sells sapphires wilsons or ebony mosaics please let me know
