adopting my friends chin, need some advice

ok so back in november when i got my second chinchilla my friend got one as well. well she called me up today and asked if i would take him cuz her cats have got him so scared hes constantly slipping fur and apparently he doesnt look to good from it. is there anything special i can feed him to help his fur grow back? i know the fur thing has alot to do with stress level so hes gonna have his own cage n stuff but i just wanted to know if anyone knew anything that would help.

It would be nice if there was something that would help grow fur back fast but there isn't. It will take 3+ months to grow back.

I agree the fur does grow back. I am sure she will be happy to be in a home without a cat bothering her
