Awesome News for ALL Chin Owners

In the MCBA there is an article telling about the research program done by the University of Pennsylvania - I was so excited I HAD to tell you about it!

Basically they did all kinds of tests to the chins at Whitewoods Ranch - blood and urine tests, X-Rays, ECG's and cardiac values.

Now the writing is underway. "After the article is composed it will be sent to a statistician for the numbers to be added. After that is done it will be submitted to the veterinary medical journals for publication. Once all that is accomplished your local vets will have access to a range of "norms" to use in diagnosing problems with your chinchillas."

Is this AWESOME news or what?? It's about time! This is a huge step for all chin owners!!

Wife to an amazing man,
mom to three wonderful kids (9, 5.10, 4),
2 dogs, 3 hermit crabs and 2 bettas

The people that own the Whitewoods Ranch are fantastic... I hope that vets take this information seriously when treating chins.
