Question Biting Chin

I need some advice. I have a 6 month chin that has developed a rather mean case of nibbles. Every time I hold her she bites, in fact she bit for so long today and so hard that I had to pry her mouth off of my finger. I dont know if she is mad or frustrated because she was escaping out of the wires on her bigger cage that her cagemate was in and trying to run around the house. Until she gets a little bigger she has been moved to a smaller cage with smaller wire. I do allow her time with her buddy but it has to be supervised as so she does not escape. Any ideas on this would be great and my poor fingers will thank you.

Thanks
Linsey

Maybe you could put some mesh around the cage so she doesn't escape?? That's what we had to do to one of our cages that our kits were sneaking out of.

As far as biting, blow gently in her face and tell her no. I wouldn't suggest bopping her on her nose, because that may irritate her more and to me, it almost seems mean. HTH!
