Question Check Up

you know i never thought about this until i started calling around vets for NIBZ but i wanna make sure with all the people who know more about chinchillas than i do .... so does NIBZ need a initial check up b/c he is new and from the petstore??? he is about 6 months old and ive have him only for a month .... what should i do?

I typically recommend a wellness check after getting any new pet. I'd want a fecal test and a physical exam done at the very least. This way, you know if the chin has any intestinal parasites and you're also establishing a relationship with your vet should you need them later.
