Chin at PetSmart

Took the kids in to buy crickets for our Mantis and saw they now have a chinchilla. Granted, they have a decent wheel, etc but it just pisses me off to see a chin in a pet store.

Most of you don't know me but before kids I was a hobby breeder and really adored chins.

All that to say I just really hate seeing them in pet stores.

Wife to an amazing man,
mom to three wonderful kids (9, 5.10, 4),
2 dogs, 3 hermit crabs and 2 bettas

Sometimes Pet Smart and other pet stores recommend certain cages and equipments for pets, but they don't use them in their stores for those animals. It seems to me that that's a contradiciton.

I saw my first chinchillas and ferrets at Pet Smart and Petco. I really like both animals and may get one of them at some point down the road.

Unhappy

Most of the Chins I see at Pets Mart or Pet Supermarket look sick and very sad..... makes me want to scream.
