Chin Wheel Pans!!!

I found Chinchilla wheel pans at LOWES today!! They are 4 inches deep and 16 inches around...it says it holds 3.5 gallons but I saw them and thought PERFECT CHIN WHEELS!!! They are selling for $4.57 each, so they are real inexpensive...Just thought I would share the awsome find in case anyone is looking to build some chin wheels!

I have been looking for ways to build a wheel for my chin... I will have to go look at Lowe's tomorrow, what section did you find these in? What is the actual name of the product? I want to be able to find them! Please let me know, thanks!

I don't know the name...they were sitting on the shelf in a stack but it was in the same isle as the galvanized buckets, pans and paint/stain cans (empty for storing leftovers). There was about 10 of them in a stack! I'm sure if you ask where that stuff is, they should be able to direct you.

Thank you thank you thank you!

My father is a carpenter and we have been discussing for a couple weeks now on how to build a wheel, so when I am not home or able to let my chin out, he can get some exersize. I will have to go to Lowes this week and check it out!

Oh one other thing for those of you planning to build wheels...we have found that lazy susan barrings aren't always the best things to use but old fan barrings spin really nicely and are completely silent! (except the pitter patter of little chinnie feet ) Kir gets his going so fast that when he jumps off and jumps back on too soon, it sends him flying! LOL I think he LOVES to do that because he keeps doing it!
