Chinchilla Paw Injury?

My Chinchilla hasn't been using her paw lately. She has been keeping it close to her body most of the time but will walk on it randomly and has been running on her wheel as normal. I tried to look at the bottom of it and she let me without showing any signs of pain or anything, but its been almost a week and nothing has changed. What do you think I should do?

Will appreciate any advice you have Thank you,
Lauren!

It may be an idea to remove the wheel for a few days and that will force her to rest the foot more. I've never been a fan of wheels for chillas since they really prefer jumping and hopping more than running. Also, examine every inch of her cage to see where she may have gotten it caught. Some chillas get callouses on their foot bottoms from rough platforms and wire bottom cages.
Good Luck with this, and I hope she is going to be okay

Please have pets spayed or neutered and wearing an ID tag.
Adoption is the only option
