Fur biting?

I have heard about fur biting in chinchillas.... and it not being super uncommon in high energy chins?

Im pretty sure one of mine does this, he is high strung indeed.... and in the last few weeks he has developed a patch of fur on his back right above his tail that isnt bald, but its much shorter than the rest of his fur However, he is acting, eating, and pooping completely normally.

Is this fur biting? should i be concerned? anndddd what should i do about it?
