Has anyone else experienced something like this?

Alright, my new chin Kip (have had him going on 3 months now) has started doing something unusual in the morning and has been doing it for the last three weeks. That high-pitched scream they make when the get hurt? He keeps making that noise, only in the morning, and its more like a death curdling scream. I've taken him to the vet and nothings wrong. He only does it in the early mornings, and its loud enough to wake you up with a heart attack thinking somethings wrong.

Is he just having bad, continuous nightmares or something? Its like a death-rattle and it keeps jerking me awake in the morning. Any other time, he's fine. He's happy as can be. I was just wondering if anyone else experienced anything like this.

I'm used to once in awhile hearing my other chins bark in the middle of their sleep but never anything like this.

I have a male that does something like that.
He keeps biting metal, and then he makes this awfull noise as if he's hurt really bad, but nothing's ever wrong.

We think he just likes doing things where there's a great risk of him getting hurt, so we simply just annoy him now... There's really not that much else to do about it.

I didn't think there was anything that could be done about it - I just found it unusual that it started about three weeks ago and is almost every morning. Ive started to let it go without jumping out of bed, because every time I check on him he appears fast asleep.

Guess he's just weird in his own lil way. I just wanted to know if anyone else had experienced anything like it.

My male chinchilla does the same thing, loud screams and such, don't know why but he seems to be fine.

Sorry, didn't mean for it to come off that way. I wasn't being weird about it.

my chinchilla screams in her sleep, she is laying in her swing(where she sleeps) and jumps into the top of her cage and yells for like 2 or 3 seconds, she sounds like a really loud squeaker toy!!!
