Welcome

I've never owned a chinchilla so I don't know much about them, but I'm sure they're some people on here who could help you out!

You should post pictures of your pets!!

Go to User CP at the top and then "Edit Signature" .

I think you have to wait until you have 10 posts first - but then all you have to do is go to User CP up at the top of the page, then go to edit signature.

Standard small cat /dog kennels are ok for short term transport.
I don't use the blanket during transport I use it as a sun blocker.

Yep, just make sure it's for short transport. You don't want them to be able to ingest plastic from chewing it off as it could be fatal. here are some links I want to share with you

Rivendell Chinchillas ~ High Quality Chinchillas, Supplies, and Toys
Spoiled Chins
- ChinWorld.com
Chinchillas
Cross Creek Chinchillas!
The Sounds Made by the Chinchillas

I believe that each page that i listed above has valuable information of the sort

And i might recommend that you look into shelters to see if there are any up for adoption before buying one

Oh....and please dont breed.... http://www.paw-talk.net/forums/f125/...ing-39168.html

enjoy!
