how will i know when my chins go into....

I have a 2 yr., 4 months old, and a 6 month old chins and i was wondering how i will know when thier in heat. they are girls... will they be like a rabbit and thump? or is it different with chins ??? please let me know ...

It differs from female to female.
The only sure sign is if you find a heat plug.

Some girls get a bit moody when in estrus but most don't. Their reproductive slit is more open but requires chin reproductive system experience to identify. Enjoy your girls!

The heat plug is a waxy plug like object that is expelled by a female when she becomes open during estrus. It is generally not found in the cage because the chins eat it.
