J-feeder issues

Has anyone ever had any problems with chins (or other animals) pushing J-feeders out of the cage? I have a had a chin that has been coming very close over the past few weeks and finally last night succeeded. It was Diablo, of course. He is my little escape artist. He pushed it out and was out roaming in the chin room for hours before I discovered him. Luckily I had the door shut so he couldn't really go any where but I'm wondering how I can prevent this from happening. Has anyone had any luck with solutions to this?

we use to have a kindra cage and one of our male would undo the lashes of the feeder and push it out. dumping food everywhere. i ended up puting a single wire over the feeder to support it even if the lashes were undone. after a well he just gave up completely, but i never removed the wire, even after we sold it.

I have a "kindra" cage too! I put something heavy against it for now to keep him from pushing it out but had planned on using wire when I have a chance to buy some.

Does yours have holes for a lid? Audi likes to do this, so I had to put a mini D ring type clasp through the holes to attach it to the cage. I think I have a picture on here somewhere, I'll do a search.

Of course it was Diablo, look who his mama is.
