Melamine Run Units

Well, we are pretty close to finishing the first of the melamine run units...I just thought I would give you all a sneak preview! When we are finished, 5 of these units will be side by side along one one of the chin room...as you can see, they'll have MUCH more space than typical runs do. We still have to finish adding the metal edging...add the backing, the doors, pans and shelves of course! (I made the wire runs last night all by myself!!) I had my 6 year old stand next to it for size reference. What do you think?

There will be shelves installed for the male to reach the jump hole safely...no need to worry, I know they aren't super-chins

Mandie, those are the best looking runs I have seen! I love the fact they are more spacious than regular runs. You and Shane did an incredible job.

Nearing completion...we need to move it to the chin room after adding the shelves...then just accessories and chinnies!First is the whole unit
Then the middle cage
Next is the upper lock
Middle locks
and bottom locks

Just an added note: the wire runs are open in the back for ventilation...it just looks like the back walls are solid because the unit is by the sliding glass doors and the blinds are white.

Yes, but won't the Navy pay for that?
If he really wants a "Bending Break" and you can't find one in Italy, get in touch with Harbor Freight Tool Company and order you one...we paid $52.99 for ours...it's the 36" wide one (you won't need anything wider than that...plus for anything wider the price jumps into the several hundred dollar range!)
