Sad Chin?

Is it normal for chinnies to have a night were they just don't want to do anything except lay down and nap? My chin has been very active, but tonight he would come out of his cage and just sleep. Should I be concerned?

If he keeps being inactive, yes. Sometimes i let mine out and they play for all of 5 minutes before he decides he would rather go sleep in his cage... even though he usually makes the most of things when he is out.... But this doesn't happen much... and he is amazingly moody for a chinchilla.... apperantly he is not in the mood to play?

Yes, he's normal in all of those areas. He just seems to want to sleep a little bit more than usual. He came out to play today, but after about 30 minutes he crawled up onto my desk and fell asleep. He used to play for a lot longer.
