Triplets born today, and we have a sapphire again!

Today my standard/sc pair became proud parents of triplets. There is a nice looking standard/poss. sc male, weighing 46 grams, and looks like he will be blocky like dad. A standard/poss. sc female weighing in at 40 grams and a sapphire male, weighing in at 39 grams. I have the sapphire males older brother from another litter, and it looks like this guy will have the same amazing colour as his older brother

Here is the girl

Aww! They are cute!

I have a question... How could you have a possible sc? Wouldn't it just be a carrier and if not how could you tell until it had babies?? Im sorry I was just wondering...

Yes, these babies are either carriers or they aren't, so I list them as possible sapphire carriers, since there is a 50% chance that they are carriers. If I sell them, I like people to know that they potentially carry this gene in case they want to breed it to a sapphire or another carrier
Most breeders will list kits as possible carriers since that really is what they are, there is a "possiblity" that they are carriers.
