Thanks guys! Yepp, went home with three. Yes, I was soooo happy about winning Whiskers. He's a sweet chinnie but does bite. Im going to break that habbit though!! Im so happy with who I brought home, they are all such sweeeties. I love the Nilla too... She's going to have some pretty babies.

I have a question...

If I bred our tan pastel with a white mosiac, what could that give me? How can I learn how to do that without using silverfall's calculator? Sometimes colors come out that aren't even listed in the offspring possibilities.

First, there is no such thing as a tan pastel. It's one or the other and is determined by the darkness of the ebony influence. Most people call a first generation ebony/beige cross a pastel. As they get darker, people call them tans.

Assuming the pastel is a hetero beige pastel and not a homo beige, you could feasibly get these:
Standard
Mosaic
Pastel
Het. Beige
Pastel/Tan White Mosaic
Eb Mosaic
Pink white
Hetero Ebony

LOL! I don't think you can really break a chin from biting as they will always do "test nibbles" to see if you are edible. But, if you have a chin that bites really hard every time like I do right now with one of my new ones, you can blow on their face when they do it. I did that with another female I have who would bite really hard. She hates getting air blown in her face and after a few months learned not to bite so hard. Blowing on their faces is a good way to teach them not to bite too hard because it doesn't hurt them, and doesn't scare them...they just don't like it. I hope this helps

Yepp... That's what we've been doing everytime he bites.

Sage's parents- a beige and tan, I believe
Pimpster's- a Std and het ebony.

They have such great fur.

Snokey, the mosiac, was born 1-13-04 (or the 10th...)
Nilla, the white, was born 1-10-04 (or the 13th..)
Whiskers, the beige, was born 4-16-02

LOL Jade... Shows how gullible I am. I read off some webpage "tan pastel" and here I am thinking "Well that sounds good! Jade thought she was a pastel and I always thought she was a tan.."
