I have a female, Chloe, that ALWAYS sleeps like that. Pregnant or not. It's hilarious! I've also got a male that sleeps with half his back end hanging off the shelf. Chins are characters!

My chin Monkey likes to lay on his back on the dustbath house. It's hilarious. I usually find him like that when I go to give them treats. On his back, eating his treat. I always say to him "Don't eat like that, you could choke."

Yeah, I know he probably doesn't understand or even care, but it's still hilarious to see him doing that! I'll have to get a picture sometime.

Maureen (who is missing a back leg) sleeps on her side with her stump facing upward for the world to see. It's funny as I wonder how she gets into that position and how she gets up. It also freaks my husband out, because it makes her look dead.

Also funny is the occasional sleeping position my husband calls '360 degree perimeter security' where all three chins sleep butt to butt and face outward at evenly spaced intervals.

In the end, it is whatever makes these guys comfortable.

lol.. That's halarious!

Our chin, Nilla. She sleeps squished between the cage wall and her leap n' ledge with her front teeth clamped down on the cage bars to hold her in place.
