Maureen (who is missing a back leg) sleeps on her side with her stump facing upward for the world to see. It's funny as I wonder how she gets into that position and how she gets up. It also freaks my husband out, because it makes her look dead.
Also funny is the occasional sleeping position my husband calls '360 degree perimeter security' where all three chins sleep butt to butt and face outward at evenly spaced intervals.
In the end, it is whatever makes these guys comfortable.
