Exclamation BeSt & WoRsT products to clean...

HellO! I just want to tell you that I got another ferret today, and now I have 2 baby girls that refuse to learn to use the litterbox, I was wondering.. which products should I use to clean their "presents" in the cage right now Im using Lysol and before that I was using Oust, and even though it says in the back that u can use it in pet areas it also says that is hazards to human and animals! So im kind of confused... I dont feel good using those products even though some people have told me that they use lysol around their guinea pigs and its safe..please can someone write a list of safe products to use around them to clean?
That would be awesome for new ferret mommies life me! thanks and love to all...and lots of PEACE!

hi.

I wouldn't use oust or lysol to clean pet cages.
either check out your local petstore and get a "pet friendly" cleaner from there, or do what my friend does with her cages-- use vinegar and water. It's supposed to clean as well as take away the odor of the pet "presents" pretty well.

Keep up the litter training! It seems to take a bit of time but it's worth it once they get what you want them to do.

How big is your cage? If you have a small cage to put them in I would do that and work with them getting them to use the litter box. I use vinegar to clean my cage and the floor when they poop on the floor. Put blankets and stuff in the corners.

Hope you get them trained.
