Does anyone know about Rainbow Exotics?

I just bought a new kit from Petco and was originally told she was Marshalls, but she didn't have the telltale tattoos on her ears. When I asked, they said they had gotten some from Rainbow Exotics. I couldn't find any information through a Google search and wondered if anyone here could tell me more about where my ferret came from.

Thanks!

Rainbow Exotics is a large animal mill that was recently investigated for cruelty.

I can't say I'm a PETA fan but what went on does seem pretty awful. It's been on the news a lot.

How awful! Thank you so much for sending this. My little girl seems happy and healthy, but should I be worried about her at all?

If she seems healthy I wouldn't worry too much but be warned that she could develop problems later. A lot of animals from big mills like that have issues later on in life (or at least, in my experience they seem to).

I agree.Just keep your eye on her.If she seems fine now, then she probably is.

Rainbow seems really terrible. Then again all pet mills are horrible places!!! Only in the buisness for the money.

It sucks that that animal mills exist---so sad--but don't beat yourself up over purchasing a baby from them--you didn't know--just get your new love a well ferret and shot vet check and enjoy that baby
