So every time I go to Pet Supermarket (a very good store, here), I see the ferrets, play with them a little if I have the time, and keep remembering how I always had some small pet when I was younger.
So, I've decided I'd like to get another small pet, 2-3 ferrets. They live longer than rats and are much more interesting (to me) ; however, I'd like to do what I did with my corn snake (who won't be eating ferrets or be eaten herself, thank you
), and a get a good book on ferrets.
I found out on CornSnakes.com that people who won whatever pet tend to know what the best book is, so I'm hoping you guys can direct me to a good book on ferrets.
Also, something unrelated to the book, but still to ferrets. I know they're carnivores, and while reading over a website, they said not to let them play with other animals like mice and rats. Well, my corn snake obviously eats mice, which are either bought frozen from a reputable dealer, or raised by myself (getting into that soon). So, I'm wondering if mice in anyway could be a sort of treat for a ferret. Any info on this would like appreciated.
