Hello - and some questions

It has been forever since I have posted in here, but I have just finally gotten the internet at home, so I will actually have time. Hurray!! hehe. I have been having a few problems with the ferts and was wondering if I could get some advice.

Background info:
I have had Lucy and Joe for almost 2years. Four months ago I got Oscar. Well, come to find out Oscar gave ECE to my two ferts and I had to force feed them and give them water from a syringe for a few days and the vet put them on an antibiotic. I have noticed that their poop is still very runny and STINKY!!!!!!!! It has been quite some time, and they show no other symptoms. I dont know what to do. Before I moved into my apartment I had kept the ferts in my bedroom and people would always be shocked that they could not smell the ferrets, now I cant even sit accross the room from them without being grossed out. I clean their cage entirely once a week and do the litterbox every other day, but they Smell SO BAD!! I dont know what to do. Is this normal?

Also, Joe has started loosing weight the past two months and is now quite skinney. He used to be fat, now he is thin and his fur is more coarse than Lucy and my baby (Oscar) Is there something I should be doing for him? He isnt sickly thin, only he used to be a tubolard and now he isnt. He acts exactly the same as the other two, and has had not changes in routine or personality. Is it because he is just getting older? He will turn two in a few months.?

Any help would be greatly appriciated thank you so much!!!! My ferret babies appriciate it too!!

for the ECE try feeding them baby food (turkey or chicken with gravy but NO VEGS) with tuna, and kibble. It has done wonderfully to help put weight on one of my boys. Also try putting gatorade in the water to help with the electrolites (sure I spelled that wrong sorry)

The safest way to add weight is with Ducky Soup.

Here is a great article with recipe

Mine wont eat it either. I tried for about two and a half weeks to get them to eat it, but they wouldnt touch it. Then When they got sick, I had to force them to eat it, and now they wont touch the stuff.

I heard from someone that ECE scars the intestines and can prohibit them from digesting all their food fully. They said that I should have them on antibiotics off and on until they are back to normal, which could take up to 8 months. ... I guess we will have to go back to the vet.
