Kaytee product question

I've usually used the Kaytee corn cobs for the ferret litter and it works great but I've recently came across their new Kaytee soft-absorb litter. I haven't tried it with my carpet sharks yet, but I was curious if anyone has, how it works, if their ferrets have tried to eat (if so, digested it) and how they are afterward. I've been told that it's similar to yesterday's news. Anyway, if anyone has any imformation on the Kaytee soft-absord that would be great! Thanks!

Well, I heard that it's more convenient for cleaning and keeping the cage in better condition for the ferrets. But basing the fact that the soft-absorb is made from wood fibres, I'm not sure how safe it would be for the sensitive urinary tracks. Which is another reason why I was asking about the product.
