Princess-vet

Well..i was looking online and saw sometime about a disease that happens often with ferrets and i think princess has it..I can't remember the name of it but it starts with a V lol..

Well my dads going to take her to the vet and im going to pay for it when i get the money. as i dont have it right now.

while we are going...Collen is going to get his shots (distemper and rabies)

It wont be untill next week somtime. but she is going..I hope she will make it..as she is really old any ways.

Didn't you say Princess was 9 years old? You might want to research adrenal tumours and surgery before you decide on that option. There are other medical options for a ferret her age that may allow her more quality time and may be less expensive. I would check out some of these internet sites for research.

Ferret Health Care - Adrenal Disease and Insulinoma in the Domestic Ferret
Search the FERRET-SEARCH Archives
Ferret Illness and Disease Index
FHL Archives Search

Info on non-surgical Adrenal treatments.

Melatonin (Ferretonin):
Melatonin treatment of hyperadrenocorticism in ferrets
Ferrets Magazine - FerretsMagazine.com - THE ultimate guide for today’s ferret owner.

Lupron:
Lupron Demystified

Good luck with whatever you decide!

Went to the vet..and...they said that its old age and that it would be of best intrust to have her put down as she is suffering.

I really dont want to but i feel that it is best as well. she can hardly walk...lossing alot of hair..and shes just not doing well.

she was the first ferret i have ever had. I don't know what I should do.
