Sorta defeats the purpose

I have been having a terrible time getting Mojo & Winnie to stop going potty on the shelves of their cage so I put a litter box in the corner hoping that would help.
Needless to say it hasn't, they now think they have a new bed!

LOL Fsty ours did the same thing, they have a cat box on the bottom of their cage, used it then proceeded to start using the 2nd shelf of their 4 level cage as a bathroom so we put a corner box their, now they use the cat box below for sleeping, funny how they do that huh?

That's a familiar site to me! Except now Tigger and Nibbles seem to prefer Nibbles' old hammock! LOL

We had this same prob when we would introduce ferrets into the cage. The best thing to do is try and stuff as much bedding as you can on each shelf, this helped my situation.

level cage, litter box
