When a special needs animal comes your way, there is aways a reason. That is because it is known that you can handle it, and God forbid she ended up some place else, what would become of her.

Thanks PnJ! I wouldn't want to imagine what would have happened to her had I gotten rid of her as I initially contemplated. Once I found she was deaf it brought a whole new light on things, made me think & react differently. animals are like children... each individually & loving in their own way. I think a lot of the reason it is slow going right now is because she is also still a kit (young)... she is going through her terrible 2's I think
We'll make it though... I know we will.

Yep she's a keeper!
I just had her outside on the leash.... not sure that was a good idea though poor baby seemed scared to death. afterwords I picked her up with lots of kisses & love & she sorta clung to me. (I've heard bringing ferrets into strange unfamiliar places often promotes bonding & trust, especially in biters & deaf fuzzies.)
