Question hedgie wheel help

Hey i just got a solid wheel and oreo doesn't use it! I know he'd love it if he could figure out how to use it. It isn't very easy to spin like most wheels and i think maybe he's not big enough to push it. It's a 12" plastic wheel and he's only around 9-10 oz. Any suggestions?

If the wheel is a new concept to him, give him at least a week. Sometimes the new thing is scary, he will figure out what it is soon enough and then you will want him to stop. lol

Inside me lives a skinny woman crying to get out. But I can usually shut her up with cookies.

It took my hedgie about 2 weeks to figure out the wheel. Now he acts like he's training for a marathon every night!

Hamish doesnt have a wheel yet. I've ordered a Wodent Wheel from Transoniq......should be on its way here shortly. I'm hoping for it in time for Christmas. I'm figuring it will take him a little while to venture into it and try it out. But he's getting so big he could really use the work out!! I'll let you know how he makes out with it once the wheel arrives.
