Question my hedgie has dry skin

Hey, I just got a Hedgie. He was born on september 2, 2004, and he is going through quilling. His skin is really dry. What can I do to help him? He also scratches all night, is that just part of qulling? Thanx in advance- Amanda

Hedgies often have dry skin when quilling. You can use a drop or two of Vit E and that really helps. You can also try a gentle oatmeal shampoo every once and a while, I wouldn't recommend shampooing often at all! Try the Vit E first and see if that helps.
