Thingy for keeping hedehogs warm

Today I was at the pet store and I found this thing called 'snugglesafe' that looks like a frisbee and is supposed to keep animals warm. I bought it because my house is cold and I don't want my hedgehogs to hibernate. I guess you put it in the microwave for 5 minutes and it stays at 52 degrees celcius for 6 hours, and stays warm for 12. I'm just trying it out now on Makonya, but if it really works it would be a great thing to buy for any hedgehog or for baby animals. The website is www.snugglesafe.com.

It works... I've had that for some time now and have to replace it soon. I have a cover to put over mine that velcro's shut. I know of someone that uses them, also with the covers (after she looked at mine and sewed her own) and her hedgies will bury under their sleeping bags and covers to get to them to sleep right on top of them.

Adopt a pet today!
Inside me lives a skinny woman crying to get out. But I can usually shut her up with cookies.

Personally, I've never used one, but know of many people who do. If you are looking for a cover made especially for your new disk, try pinsneedles.com
