What foods are bad?

I want to make some treats, and yummy hedgie food recipes, but i don't want to use anything that can make Oreo sick. Besides the obvious (like raw or high in fat meats) what is not ok. Are there any fruits and veggies they can't have? What about nuts? I've heard of peanut halves getting stuck on the roof of their mouths, and having to go to the hedgie hospital to get it removed. Are eggs ok as long as they are fully cooked? Thanx in advance!

I would stay away from pork. Grilled, boneless, skinless chicken breast would be awesome (no spices), try a little piece of this and that veggie wise. Double check with a hedgehog knowledgable vet but I would think anything that is not too soft to get stuck.

Your hedgehog can eat (almost) anything you can eat. Stay away from spicy things, raw or undercooked meats, and raw eggs. Hedgehogs are lactose intollerant, so no milk or suck. They love cottage cheese and other soft cheeses, but you'll need to limit what you give them.

any unseasoned fully cooked meat is a good choice the lower in fat the better, and hard boiled eggs are a favorite among my gang, and you dont want to feed any nuts because they can get stuck in the top of their mouth, also on veggies & friuts make sure that you chop them up fine so they dont get stuck in their mouth.
