Question Is white cedar bedding Ok?

Hey, i bought a hedgie and the lady at the pet shop said to use cedar bedding. I've heard that its not ok to use. She thinks you can use white cedar but not red cedar. (It isn't such a great pet shop, and Oreo is still going throught meds for more sicknesses, but he's just fine now) So, i'm using carefresh. It is a little messy and dusty, and oreo likes the white cedar better. I'm so confused! what do you think is best?

No cedar.... if you are going to use shavings use pine or aspen. Cell-sorb plus is good (Jodi and Jade recommended it to me) we are trying vellux liners right now, they can be taken out and washed then put back in,

Exactly what Sassy said!

Velux liners do work good, I've used them in the past too and really liked them. But definitely stay away from shavings.
