Question WHS in hedgehogs??

Has anyone had personal experience with WHS in hedgehogs or do you know how common it is?? I want a hedgehog ssoooo bad but I'm terrified about that and would be afraid that I would be the person that got a hedgehog that came down with it. Do you have any neat info on them too like their life span and such?? Thanks a bunch!

Find a good breeder with a good reputation. Then the risc of getting a sick animal should be minimal.
It help's if the breeder has pedegrees in HBA http://hedgehogbreederalliance.org/
