Congrats!
Sorry I don't have a prairie dog cage, lol, but the little buggers are adorable!

I don't have any pictures right now, but I can tell you we keep little wooden hanging toys in them (not too many, as sometimes he seems irritated with them, lol). He has his mineral/salt wheel, I keep a timothy cube in his cage, and lots of t-shirts for him to make a bed out of (shirts I hear should be white and free of dyes, the same goes with wooden toys). To keep the mess to a minimum (because they are super messy), I keep his hay in a wire ball that he can just pull out when he needs and I feed him dog chow as well. Some will say dog food is too fatty for them, but I can't find prairie dog pellets anywhere and from what I hear they are pricey. He is a good weight, not overweight, so I continue to feed him what I've always fed him. And the cage has two levels (used to have three but he's gotten pretty tall, so I removed a level and had to adjust it to two). I hear that rope (the hard wirey kind) is good fun for them- they love to chew and this gives them an outlet. I'll try to get a pic of my cage when I get a chance. I don't keep too much in it though, as I think it gets too crowded in there for him.
