Red face Getting A Prairie Dog In 3 Days... Any Suggestions?

After about two months of waiting, I'm finally getting a precious little prairie dog in three days. Unfortunately, since I live about two hours away, I haven't seen it yet. When I called the place to find out if they had any prairie dogs, they only had two left [[both 11 week old males]]. The owner described them to me and I put a down payment on one so I wouldn't have to hope nobody takes them. I've 100% baby-proofed my room, found a vet for the little guy, got a cage and filled it with all of the necessities, and I'm still nervous. This is my first prairie dog, so if you have any hints, ideas, or know some tricks, please help. Thanks so much in advance.

Well, I don't know if I have any great hints or ideas, but don't expect them to be all sweet and cuddly when you get them, lol. Both of my pd's were supposedly "super sweet" and "love attention", but that wasn't the case at all. I've done my best to work with them- one on one time, and they're definitely doing better. My little boy, Charlie, still likes to bite on occasion (not too hard, though); he's actually pretty hilarious. He gets irrirtated easily and throws his hay at me, too. I love him! My little girl I've only had for a few weeks, unfortunately, they're not getting along at all. She doesn't like to be held either. We're working on that one. She likes to stand on my head, weird, I know. They both have their little quirks, things they like/dislike, but they're overall really great pets. I'm just not sure what I'm going to do about my little girl, Phoebe. The last thing I wanted was to have two separate cages, ugh. Good luck with your little one, though.
