Hehe, thanks, I thought so too. I just had some play time with the little guy. He is just so fun to be around. He tolerates any handling, he takes any food from your hands, he loves to climb up on you to "get a look around," he's just a blast. I've never had so much fun with a small mammal. I'll get vids next time I get around.
Anyway, I found out the the store had five of them to begin with, and that two of them got loose and are somewhere in the store
I don't really know what they expected, though. I mean, they don't keep tops on any of the enclosures - that means people can freely pick up anything (rabbits, ferrets, hamsters, mice, rats, macaws, cockatiels, parakeets, chinchillas, guinea pigs, etc etc etc) and this place has a lot of animals. It's already a bit of a bother when I see unsupervised little kids treating the animals roughly, chasing loose hamsters on the ground, dropping them. It's a sad sight, really. But the idea that animals are escaping in the store just seems to scream "CLOSE US UP."
Sorry, sorry. I know that was off topic, but it was on my mind.
I'd like to close again by restating that Icarus is a blast
