i've caught TWO!!!

lol not what you think. i didn't catch them for my own pet enjoyment we noticed that we had a groundhog/pd whatever, living under our deck. i'd seen him running between our backyard and our neighbours to get to their appletree. SO i got my FIL to go get a havahart critter live trap (of course), since getting someone to come here cost way too much. well not 15 minutes after i set the trap, we caught the pd. so we drove a kilometer down the road and let him out in a field. WELL....not a few days later we have another. not the same one cause this one is smaller. well i set the trap again a few days ago but he's been smarter. i just caught him this morning!! man they're cute, i see why people want them, but man they're big and they try to be vicious. i cooed and it calmed down....a little....lol so we drove it down the road again, and let it go. hopefully we dont' have more than two. not that it's a big deal....but it's tunnels are under our deck AND all along the foundation of the house....not such a good thing. anyways, i wish i could have gotten pix but i didn't want to scare them any more. just thought it was neat!!

lol nope, i haven't seen it around, i know it's still there tho, things in the backyard change overnight. he digs in the flowerpots to look for or bury things lol. i think he's getting ready to hibernate. i dunno. i also haven't seen it use it's regular escape path, which is where i caught the other two.
